Description

Blade's ideal home

Blade is looking for his new family to have previous Rottweiler knowledge, as he does show a lot of traits typical to the breed. He is also very strong on the lead, so any adopters will need to be comfortable and confident when talking him out on walks. As Blade has shown to be nervous of unknown people since being in kennels any children in the home will need to be 16+ that are comfortable around big, boisterous dogs. His new home will also need minimal visitors and the ability to separate him from the front door for the same reason. He is still working on his socialisation, so will need to be the only dog in the home and would benefit from adopters that are happy to continue meeting dogs with him when out and about. He also can’t live with any other pets. Blade will need his new home to have a private, secure garden where he can run around playing with his favourite toys. He will also need his new home to have the ability to separate him when feeding.

Could you be Blade's perfect match?

A big boy, looking for the best home. Blade is our 1-year-old Rottweiler who is patiently waiting for his forever family that will give him all the attention and adventures he deserves. Although nervous of new people, once he knows you be prepared for endless laughs, love, and lots of fun.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
