Asha's ideal home

We are looking for a home with adopters with adopters who preferably have larger breed experience. Asha would prefer to live in a home as the only pet, although she does enjoy socialising out and about with her doggy friends. We have no history of Asha around children and she can be a little unsure of new people initially, so she could live with children aged 12+ pending successful intros at the centre. Once settled, Asha can be left for a couple of hours although she much prefers it when her foster carers are around so she can relax on the sofa! Asha does have some on-going medical with her skin which can be discussed with the Home from Home Team. Considering that Asha has had such a terrible start to her life, she is a very trusting girl who is looking for a home where can continue to flourish.

Asha is a 1-year-old Rottweiler who came into our care after being found as a stray. Sadly Asha has not had the best start to life, she was found very neglected and in a sorry state. Since arriving in our care, she has come on leaps and bounds and has been spending her time in one of our lovely foster homes. Asha loves exploring the garden, where she enjoys playing fetch with squeaky balls! You can often find Asha snuggled up on the sofa with her foster carers, once she has a good relationship with you she is incredibly affectionate.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
