Description

Mark's ideal home

Mark is a 1yr 9m old Rottweiler x Husky that has come to us with very little information. He will need his own private and secure garden with 6’ solid fencing with no neighbouring dogs. He will need to be the only pet in the home. Mark is looking for a quieter location or somewhere where he can be walked without too much traffic as he is needing to build his confidence in this area. Mark will need to stay on lead when being walked due to his high prey drive. Mark is currently learning to wear a muzzle for when he is out on walks, our training team will give guidance and support with his ongoing training. Any children in the home should be of secondary school age and happy to be around a big bouncy dog.

Could you be Mark's perfect match?

Mark is very friendly with everyone he meets and does enjoy a fuss. Although a little underconfident on his walks, he does walk nicely on lead and enjoys lots of sniffs. Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
